After pickup from your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An, visit the Son Tra Mountain, also known as Monkey Mountain, to gain insight into Vietnam's rich history of Buddhism and Hinduism. Then, visit the Lady Buddha statue, the tallest Buddhist statue in Vietnam, reaching a height of 220 feet (67 meters). Next, visit local stone factories and sculpture shops, before visiting Marble Mountain. Visit the Âm Phủ cave, to take a walk through a re-creation of Buddhist hell. At midday enjoy lunch in a local restaurant with authentic Vietnamese dishes. You'll be transferred back to your hotel around 1:00 PM.

Be taken on an action-packed day tour to My Son Sanctuary and the Marble Mountain, two of the most popular attractions in Central Vietnam. The first stop will be to the My Son Sanctuary, a unique collection of temples which were built by the Cham people in the 4th century. Following that is a trip to the majestic Marble Mountains that loom for miles around. After admiring the view, travel to the sizable Am Phu Cave with its lofty vantage point. You will then discover dimly-lit cave temples, admiring colorful pagodas and gazing out over the Vietnamese countryside. The mountains themselves are made from limestone and marble (hence their name), of which the locals use to carve impressive statues and shrines. Before the day is done, there will be a visit to the Linh Ung Pagoda.

The tour begins with pickup from your accommodation in Da Nang and travels to the popular Ba Na Hills district. To start the day, enjoy a gravity-defying cable car ride through the misty mountains and pass by the famous Golden Bridge. Make sure to snap a photo of this incredible feat of engineering, an elevated walkway through the mountains supported by 2 enormous stone hands. Later, learn about the history of the region on a below-ground adventure to see French cellars that were used to distill alcohol during the colonial era. As you explore the cellars, allow yourself to be transported back in time and imagine what life was like during this historical period. Finally, take a gentle hike up Chua Mountain to admire panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Here you will also stop by the iconic Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple and Linh Ung Pagoda, famous for its large Buddha statue.

After pick-up, begin the short drive to Cua Dai Wharf, where you will board a traditional Vietnamese boat. Relax on deck and take in your surroundings on the 1-hour ride to Cham Island. Upon arrival at Cham Island, enjoy various activities, such as swimming, snorkeling and the underwater walking. Explore the underwater world and discover the animals inhabiting it. Take the hassle out of your journey from Hue to Hoi An with a private car transfer. You will be picked up from your hotel in Hue and dropped off in Hoi An at your desired location, with plenty of time for sightseeing on the way. Stop off at Lang Co beach, a popular tourist destination. This beautiful beach is situated on a lagoon, separated from the sea by the highway. Relax and enjoy some fresh seafood. Once you are back in the car, you will drive over the Hai Van (ocean cloud) pass along one of the world's most beautiful coastal roads. Enjoy incredible views along the series of hairpin turns, steep inclines, and breathtaking vistas.  Next you will see the Marble Mountains. This group of five limestone hills are named after five elements (fire, metal, earth, water, and wood). Thuy Son, the water mountain, is the largest of the five and boasts several caves, pagodas, and two viewpoints with spectacular views of Da Nang city. Afterwards, it is possible to visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture in Da Nang, to learn about this ancient art form (available upon request). Finally, you will be dropped off at a convenient location in Hoi An. 

From Da Nang: Bach Ma National Park Trekking

7. From Da Nang: Bach Ma National Park Trekking

Bach Ma National Park has a diversity of flora and fauna as well as naturally beautiful landscapes to explore. Another interesting sight is the old villas that remain in the jungle despite being damaged in the American War and reclaimed by nature. Bach Ma is a great place for panoramic views of natural wonders including Cau Hai Lagoon and Chan May Port. Start hiking along the path through the forest to the summit trail, which takes you a few kilometers past the Bach Ma Morin at the terminus of the park road. The trail continues to a pavilion with 360-degree views of the surrounding area, usually mist-shrouded and above the clouds. Back to Do Quyen Waterfall for trekking along a path through dense jungle (1.5 kilometers). Trekkers in luck can see birds at close range along the foot trails where we will enjoy a picnic lunch. After an exciting day in Bach Ma, we will depart for Lang Co Beach and have seafood lunch there. With its gradually sloping, white sand beach, an average depth of less than 1 meter and the average temperature in the bathing season of 25oC, Lang Co is an ideal beach for tourists.
