Start your sightseeing tour in a relaxing way with a pickup service at your accommodation. After a short meet-and-greet with your driver, you will be taken to your first location, The Hague. The Hague is an important city in the Netherlands, home to some of its most important buildings. The Hague plays host to the Dutch government and parliament. You can also see the embassies, the international court and criminal court, the Peace Palace and the International Court of Justice just to name a few. Your tour guide will acquaint you with this very important place. For a change of scenery, your guide will take you to the Mauritshuis to witness the famous artwork within. This gallery is home to classic Dutch artists such as Vermeer, Rembrandt and Jan Steen among others. The gallery predominantly contains classics from the golden age but contains a wide variety of exhibitions. After experiencing culture and art in The Hague, the tour continues in Delft. Delft is a city near The Hague, known for its Delftware pottery. You can view this blue with white handmade pottery in the Royal Delft museum to experience something uniquely Dutch.

NOT A TRUE TOUR: We started our day getting picked up by a very nice driver who drove us to Delft. When there we were given an audioguide provided The Royal Delft factory. Our tour was self guided, not led by our driver. Although our driver accompanied us through the factory he offered no commentary or expertise on the subject. (The factory has its own guided tours) We then went to The Hauge where we were taken to the International Court where we were offered the opportunity to take a selfie as it was closed to the public. Then we went to the Peace Palace which similarly was closed to the public. The extent of our driver's commentary on these two places could be found on the opening paragraph of Wikipedia. At this point there was a gap between our arrival and when the Mauritshuis opened, so our driver dropped us in the city center and suggested we get lunch and that he would pick us up in 2 hours. In summary, I would classify this as a private car service, NOT A TOUR.
