Full description

Explore the Ford Motor Company’s first purpose-built factory. Built in 1904, the Piquette Avenue Plant is the birthplace of the Model T car. The Plant is designated an official National Historic Landmark and is recognized as one of the world's most significant automotive heritage sites.

Your entry ticket includes access to the facilities and a 90-minute guided factory tour. Begin your tour with watching a documentary film about the early automotive industry. Then, continue on through the 3 floors of the former Ford factory and see impressive iconic vehicles. View the "Secret Experimental Room", accessible to only select employees at the time. See where the Model T was designed and created, as well as cars converted for various tasks and industries. Finally, learn how cars were built during the early 1900s in Detroit.
