Fine thing, very good idea.

I bought the City Card on the internet. Worked very well, with a control there were problems with the read. But then it worked. The Municipal Sales Office charged a different price for the City Card than I bought. The staff were not able to give a useful info for the price difference. I was a little upset. The basic idea of this card is very good. The achievable benefits were often not realized. The usage time until 19 o'clock was very tight.

We recommend

Everything worked out great! On the day of arrival in Dresden we headed directly to the info point to receive our city card. As a result, we were already mobile with the tram after the hotel check-in. Nice if you do not have to worry about tickets anymore.

The information counter to collect the Dresden City Card was within a small shopping mall right in front of the Frauenkirche Dresden. It may be missed due to the many restaurants alfresco there.

It was a very informative tour, which was made very interesting by our guide.

Everything easy to get to and use, friendly staff on ship.
