Full description

See historic sites and the vibrant cosmopolitan dynamism of Dubai on this tour starting in the popular Jumeirah district. Take in the hustle and bustle of local life as you learn more about the history of the city and its modern development with your guide.

Stop at the traditionally recreated Madinat Souk for stunning photos of the iconic Burj Al Arab Hotel then drive onto the man-made Palm Jumeirah island, an incredible architectural marvel for a closer look at another icon, the Atlantis Resort.

Continue along Jumeirah Beach, the picturesque palace and residential area of Dubai to a photo-stop at the famed Jumeirah Mosque. Next drive to Zabeel district for a few clicks outside the Dubai Ruler’s Palace before heading to Al Bastakiya, the old part of Dubai.

A brief stop at the ruling family’s former residence, Al Fahidi Fort is followed by a short Abra (water taxi) sailing across Dubai Creek. Disembark at the Spice Souk where the fragrances of the orient come together then there is time to shop in one of the most visited sites of Dubai – the Gold Souk.

Finally, your journey ends in the new heart of Downtown Dubai where you will see the magnificent Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.

They came to pick us from the hotel, transfer us to our tour bus (the timeing hasn't been the best). After departing from Burj al Arab we had the best guide, both in english and german. From there we had a nice tour. Drop-off at the hotel was included as well. Good value for money.

It took a while to get going, think it did not start till mid afternoon once all had been picked up from various hotels. It was not perfect listening to the commentary in both German and English, would have preferred an English audio. May have been better to stop at Al Fahidi rather than the Gold Souk, a more interesting area. However trip on the abra boat was good, and visits to the Dubai Museum and other stops also good.

Loverly Experience Of Dubai

It was a good experience and I got a chance to learn a lot from our tour guide Ashraf about Dubai. They provided us with water and allowed us to take some pictures and explore numerous of the places talked about. Tour to the museum was amazing, learnt a lot about Dubai and its history. I think the visit to the mosque should be removed there was no access to the place in the afternoon and most tours are usually in the afternoon. Overall, it was a wonderful experience
