4. In the Footsteps of Pink Floyd Cambridge & London Tour

Walk among the dreamy spires of its pastoral environs, and learn about the impact the city had on Pink Floyd’s music. Your guide will take you through song titles and lyrics from tracks such as “Granchester Meadows,” “Bike,” “High Hopes” and “The Wall” as you visit the family homes of Barratt, Gilmour and Waters. See where the boys went to school and hung out in city center pubs, cafés and music stores.
Enjoy some free time to explore on your own, and watch the punters on the River Cam. Go to historic Kings College, and walk in the footsteps of famous men at Silver Street Bridge.
Return to London to discover the famous “Ally Pally” hill-top venue of the legendary “14-Hour Technicolour Dream.” Enjoy panoramic views of London, and go to the only London house where the original band members lived together as students.
The tour also takes in early rehearsal rooms, Pink Floyd’s own Britannia Road Studios, and the legendary studios at Abbey Road, where they recorded their greatest albums. A number of other Central London locations will be included, depending on traffic.
