Sydney: Blue Mountains Waterfalls, Walks, and Sunset Tour

1. Sydney: Blue Mountains Waterfalls, Walks, and Sunset Tour

Enjoy a small group photo tour of the Blue Mountains including sunset at Echo Point. This semi-private tour departs later so you can sleep in and avoid Sydney’s rush hour traffic. You'll stop at three amazing lookouts. Each lookout is just a short walk from the vehicle. Then listen to sounds of nature, the birds, and rushing water on two longer walks to some majestic waterfalls. Keen nature lovers will enjoy the 40-minute bush walk to Leura Cascades and a longer walk into Wentworth Falls. Those who would rather not join in the longer walks can choose to take a shorter walk or visit Scenic World for two hours. After the group reunites you'll visit two spectacular lookouts before returning to Echo Point to view the Three Sisters as the sun sets. The final remote lookout looks west over the Megalong Valley to watch the last rays of sunlight. Finally, relax at a local hotel and enjoy dinner before returning to Sydney.

Your tour guide will then take you down to the valley floor whilst explaining the area and coal mine. After, visit the quaint village of Leura. Although I am much delayed in leaving this review, as I went on this tour last July, I had to take a moment to HIGHLY recommend this tour, or any with terry for that fact! In my trip to Sydney, this Blue Mountains tour was by far one of the BEST, if not the best experience I had while there. From the friendly, small group environment (which is a lovely way to make some new friends, and I found to be so fun!), to Terry's promptness (he showed up at my hotel right on time, with a smile, even AFTER I had booked the tour quite last minute!), to his thoughtfulness and knowledge (especially of Photography! This is a huge bonus, and I left with the most incredible photos from the day) as well as the incredible opportunity to learn so much from Terry about general information/Australia, truly made for a day I will likely not ever forget. No other tour I have been on anywhere in the world gave me the anything near the quality of this enriching, personalized experience I got with Terry

The tour started off with views of the Three Sisters at Echo Point at Blue Mountain and then we went to Scenic world where we rode the worlds steepest railway, the cable car and walked through the rainforest. We the had an amazing lunch and continued onto the Featherdale reserve where we got up close with the kangaroos and the koalas. We then finished off with a beautiful ferry ride back to Circular Quay. It’s an experience we will remember for years to come.

Weather was perfect so we could see beautiful blue mountain. This is great tour to enjoy everything during the day. And our tour guide he is the best! He is knowledgeable, good story teller also has sense of humor. It was great time to know about aborigine culture too. Highly recommend this tour. One of my Best tour I’ve ever joined!

Even though the days was rainy & we were unable to see the rock formations our guide Rod adapted well on the fly. He kept the mood light & made adjustments to the tour.

Tour was great. Guide was funny and knowledgeable.
