Full description

The tour will depart from Edinburgh at 7:30 AM and return to the original departure point at approximately 20:00.  On your journey to Inverness, you will see the mouth of the river Ness, the Moray Firth, the Cathedral of Saint Andrews, its castle and the university. On this stop, have the possibility to have lunch. After Inverness, you will have the chance to take an optional cruise and head to Urquhart Castle, one of the gems of the Highlands with its superb views of Loch Ness. It is also the place from where more sightings of Nessie have been reported. If you opt out of the cruise, enjoy some time resting close to Loch Ness, where you can take a walk on its riverside. Before undertaking the trip back to Edinburgh, you will visit the amazing Rannoch Moor and the mystic Glencoe, place of one of the bloodiest episodes of the Scottish History. Our last stop on our way home is the town of Tyndrum, a genuine representation of a traditional Scottish village.

Very interesting experience, my partner and I were pleasantly surprised above all thanks to Valentina who, for the entire duration of the tour (14 hours), was able to entertain us with very interesting anecdotes both from a historical and cultural point of view and with useful information for living Scottish experience at its best. Very good and competent! An experience that we recommend to everyone to discover Scotland in depth!! Marty and Fili

The tour is great! You get to know a lot of beautiful places and although it is true that the trip is somewhat long, it becomes very enjoyable when Fran (from Almería) tells you all the history of Scotland and the surrounding places. Very highly recommended!!!! not suitable for boring people

I did not like the tour for several reasons: 1 there is no lunch break, around 9 30-10 in the morning the guide advises you to buy lunch from a partner bar along the way where several buses arrive at the same time, you find yourself at long queue to buy sandwich or toast (not much choice) that you have to eat on the bus. 2 the guide treats you like a young teenager by reminding you at the various breaks that go to the bathroom and fasten your seat belt. 3 the guide speaks all the time from 8 in the morning to 20 in the evening, if he does not speak he plays you some songs. You don't really have a moment to relax or enjoy the view or think about other things. 4 the things you see on the tour are very few. Better to rent a car and buy a good guide. First and last time I will go on an organized tour. I have not had any problems with the getyourguide application.
