Overall the tour was great. Our guide, Steve, was fantastic and kept the tour lively and fun. We did go later in the year(October), so the last hour or so back was dark and hard to see anything. Outside of that, I would recommend both the tour, and the tour bus company, to anyone that wants to see the Scottish highlands. They offer many other tours. Side note. Please tip the tour guide! I didn’t see many tip ours even though Steve went above and beyond for the group.

Amazing experience, the Scottish highlands are just gorgeous. The bus route and the train ride were both very scenic (you will enjoy it even if you are not a Harry Potter fan). Our tour guide Owen was very knowledgeable and funny and made the long hours on the bus very enjoyable.

This is a full-day trip across Scotland. You get to see most of the countryside A 4-hr bus drive from Edinburgh to Mallaig where you board the Jacobite steam train and then back again from fort Williams to Edinburg by bus. Connor was a fantastic guide and he provided plenty of good stories and insights on things we passed along the way. If you don’t like busses don’t take this trip. But if you feel like experiencing all of Scottish landscapes in just 1 day from lowlands to highlands this is just for you!
