We went with the private tour (€350,23 incl. 10% discount via app), and we'd really recommend that over the group tour. As I recall correctly we only paid around 20 euros more than the group tour. Our driver Abdul was perfectly on time, and were it not for the numerous mandatory tourist police stops, we had arrived a lot quicker than the coaches. I believe that we have travelled a lot more comfortable at least. In Cairo we met with our guide Ahmed Zaki, a friendly and extremely knowledgeable Egyptologist, who gave us all the ins and outs of Egyptian history. He asked us what we wanted to see, and more importantly, what we did not want to see. We visited the three pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. Before going to the Museum, we stopped by the restaurant where we had a nice lunch. Overall a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars, and we're happy that we didn't let the long drive to Cairo hold us back from having such an exceptional experience.

I had a great experience with this tour, and would highly recommend to anyone (especially solo female travelers!) In my case, it was a private tour with a driver, where they pick you up at your accomodations. Amina, my tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable. You'll have the opportunity to visit the Pyramid Complex, some shops, the Egyptian Museum, and a Bazaar. If you're only in Cairo for a day or two, this is the best way to get to see several of Cairo's highlights in a day! Some of the shops we visited I did feel pressured to buy things by the shop assistants, so if that sort of thing bothers you, keep in mind that you aren't obligated to buy anything. Overall, this is the best tour to take in Cairo, and I felt comfortable and safe the whole time.

It was a great experience and nice tour! And the guide had a lot of knowledge about Egyptian history. I was so amazed by it. The tour was really worth joining!

A long journey, but well worth it! Thanks to our guide Ahmed who made us spend an incredible day, all in a good mood. An unforgettable moment ✨

The guide was very good. He knew a lot and was very interested in maling a nice trip for us
