It was a nice trip, covered many points: view points, facts about this part of the world, some free time and a a few hikes. Initially I thought I would have liked more time in El Chaltain to get closer to Fitzroy, but it is a long drive, full on day, so what is offered was sufficient. You can, however, not go on small hikes and lunch but instead chose to trek to Fitzroy.
I only can say everything perfect organized and enough time to do your hiking. Comfortable transport to El chalten. Pick up around 6.15 and departure from El Chalten at 18.00
Strenuous but with an incredible reward of beautiful views from the start in El Chalten to Laguna de los Tres.
Excursion was very good. But if you want to hike, a bus from El Calafate to Chalten is probably cheaper.
Travel with a perfect guide, phantastic route 40, beautiful El Chalten and very successfull lunch.
