Plenty of food will be sampled along the way: baklava, kebabs, desserts, Turkish delight, simit, Turkish tea, mezes, olives, delicatessen stops, pastrami, clotted cream, cheese, and more!

We had a highly enjoyable and delicious tour of the Asian side of Istanbul, with our fantastic guide Cetin (an ex-chef!). The food we sampled was both local and full of flavors, and we really appreciated the range of flavors and tastes we were able to sample. Not only did we learn about the food we did try, but also a bit about other foods in other parts of the city that we should go back to try, and we got a nice list of great restaurants to try. I would definitely return for this again!

Delicious & fantastic way to view the cit with a great guide

We had a highly enjoyable and delicious tour of the Asian side of Istanbul, with our fantastic guide Cetin (an ex-chef!). The food we sampled was both local and full of flavors, and we really appreciated the range of flavors and tastes we were able to sample. Not only did we learn about the food we did try, but also a bit about other foods in other parts of the city that we should go back to try, and we got a nice list of great restaurants to try. I would definitely return for this again!

We had a great afternoon, in which we were not only shown the rich Turkish cuisine, but we also learned a lot about the country and the people. Our tour guide showed us restaurants that a normal tourist would not find and would therefore miss the culinary highlights of the country. You should bring hunger, as there is a lot to eat. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted very good.

Incredible food and good company

Despite a muck up in the details of where our tour started I rate this tour highly. The help to sort out the problem was excellent and the food itself was top notch. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us tips to try when the tour ended as well as providing a context to what we were seeing. It was a good mix of food, history and a little bit of culture.

Late start but great tour

Our tour guide was awesome, some miss communication about the time and meeting point but got it figured out and had a blast. Tasted foods I wouldn't know to find or try on my own. Got to see a mosque and learn about the culture. I love food. This tour was great

I was very impressed with the guide and how he cared for an elderly person, he took interest in a family with a small baby He took time to tell me how to get home and spoke to all of the tourists
