  • London: River Thames Evening Cruise with Bubbly and Canapés

    2. London: River Thames Evening Cruise with Bubbly and Canapés

As the sun goes down and the lights come on, see London's riverside landmarks at their glittering best on a cruise down the Thames River. Start your evening with a glass of bubbly in one hand and canapés in the other, listening to jazz and chill-out pop from live performers. Experience the magic of the city from the comfort of the main saloon or upstairs on the open-air panoramic deck. During the 2-hour cruise you will take in all the major sites of the city on the river, from the London Eye and Tower of London, to the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf – London’s mini Manhattan - and the majesty of the fairytale Tower Bridge.

We had a lovely time on the evening River Cruise, welcomed on board with a glass of bubbly, able to chose our seats and we’re given a tray of delicious canapés. The evening was really enjoyable, we had a singer on board with a beautiful voice and this we felt really made the evening special. Would absolutely recommend doing this for a celebration or just a romantic night out.

I booked St Paul’s for my 6 year old grandson who had studied the Great Fire of London at school and from the moment we stepped into the cathedral, we were both mesmerised. We were greeted with an audio guide which was really easy to use and everything was very covid secure. Although the Whispering Gallery was closed, we decided to climb the 500+ steps to the Golden Gallery which overlooked the entirety of London. He loved it - I loved it and both our legs were shaking from the climb! Probably not a good idea to climb if you are claustrophobic as the stairs can be extremely narrow in places - similarly if you are worried about heights…it’s certainly a way up! Loved every second - and would love to return one day to see the Whispering Gallery.
