What people are saying about Escuintla Department

It was a very great experience. The hike has some steep areas but overall it was a moderate hike. I loved the views from up there and our guide was excellent. You’re able to rent horses on the way up if you’d like, I am unsure about the cost since I didn’t do it. We ate heated marshmallows up there and the group I was with was so cool. I enjoyed this experience very much and would do it again.

Salvador met us on time and soon we were driving towards Pacaya. The day was simply awesome and the hike up the volcano was amazing with great views and stunning scenery. We stopped off for Guatemalan street food on the way back and chatted with our guide about his beautiful country. Salvador is a first class guide and we would certainly recommend this trip. The trip was great. We got picked up by a large van in Antigua's town center. The stops were more and longer than expected within Antigua as we picked up more guests. However after that, we arrived at Pacaya promptly and had a great time. As a bonus, the tour guide brought us marshmallows to toast on the volcano. Overall, it was a great experience for the money.

We had a great Spanish speaking tour with a great guide (Dario). Punctual, very informative and at a good price. Recommended

I recommend. Well organized & very professional tour guide
