Full description

Experience a Puerto Rican cruise from the water and head to a coral reef of Icacos Island to snorkel. Spend time off-board snorkeling or stay onboard, with snacks and snorkeling gear provided. Your late afternoon boat tour begins in Marina Puerto Chico in Fajardo, with a quick overview of the itinerary. Once your group is ready, you will continue towards boarding the vessel and receive a mandatory briefing prior to dock departure. As you navigate towards your destination on Icacos Island, feel the breeze and mist of the Caribbean waters, about 4 nautical miles from the marina. Music and viewing sites are part of this experience, with the El Yunque National Forest and the Fajardo Lighthouse being amongst the most eye-catching. The boat will stop for the afternoon where you can enjoy the warm crystal clear waters surrounded by one of the coral reefs of Icacos Island. Before sundown have the opportunity to join a guided snorkeling experience, suited to your own level of experience and explore marine life. Swim, float, and relax as you experience the afternoon from the water or aboard the boat. Light snacks and signature drinks will be served with the option of adding local rum to your drinks. Before sundown, you'll return to the marina in the company of great music and new local friends.

The crew was wonderfully patient and very attentive to everyone, especially those who never snorkeled and needed encouragement. It’s a quick drive, follow the GPS and you’ll easily arrive without incident. The short boat ride was lovely and relaxing. It’s a great trip for families or couples and groups, plenty of space on the boat for everyone. Our expectations were exceeded.

Very far to get to from San Juan (abt $50 in an uber each way), but we had a great time! The staff was excellent and took very care of us since this was our first time snorkeling and not knowing how to swim. The protective gear as well as the instructor, made us feel very safe! The water was very choppy so I suggest taking a motion sickness pill prior to getting on the boat. If you happen to forget, there is some available at the store there. They also provide light snacks (chips, dip) and plenty of refreshments. Also, if you would like to take pictures, you should purchase a waterproof disposable camera or one of those pouches to cover your phone.

Fun way to spend an afternoon even if you don’t snorkel or feel comfortable in the water. They have an ocean mat so you can float and enjoy the water anyway. AWESOME crew. Great rum drinks. Would recommend and would do again. Note if you take Uber getting there is a breeze but it may be a little challenging to get a return in the evening especially if you search for XL-search for smallest option
