1. Canary Islands: Discover Gran Canaria Day-Trip

Discover Gran Canaria on a guided bus tour through the great green heart of Gran Canaria. Then, discover the charming old town of Arucas and its magnificent modernist Church of San Juan Bautista built with volcanic black stone.  After that, explore Firgas, known as "the Atlantic balcony" for its fantastic panoramic views. Find out why it is also called "the water village", for its exceptional waterfall fountain in the middle of the old town. Next, arrive in the mountain area to make a stop at a restaurant in the Valleseco surroundings for lunch (optional and not included in the price of the tour).  Continue through protected natural areas and mountains with stops at Mirador de la Cruz de Tejeda, which has beautiful views of Roque Nublo and El Teide. Finally, see the almond trees growing area of Ayacata, San Bartolomé, with fantastic views of the Santa Lucia Valley and the Caldera de Tirajana, and end the tour with an impressive panoramic route through the Fataga Valley Canyon.

What people are saying about Fataga, Spain

Nice tour, the tour guide tried her best to explain everything and to entertain the group trilingually. The stops gave the opportunity to buy souvenirs without being intrusive. Lunch (not included) was good value for money. However, with very different waiting times depending on the choice and accordingly sometimes sporty times.

A well organised and comprehensive guided tour of the interior of the island. Covers culturally and historically important sites as well as natural wonders and National Park. Coach allows good views od spectacular scenery.

Would have liked a coffee stop in the morning instead of afternoon. But a minor detail, as overall fabulous trip, well worth doing.

The tour went partly over the rough country past the gorges, so that you had a nice view of the landscape. It was very adventurous.

This day tour exceeded our expectation! It is a nice experience to see more of the island in 1 day during your holiday.
