1. From Darwin: Litchfield Park Tour & Jumping Crocodile Cruise

Spend a day in the natural habitat of fascinating wildlife creatures at Litchfield National Park. After being picked up from your accommodation, ride to the famous Adelaide River. You may even see a crocodile launching itself out of the water with the power of its tail. At the famous Litchfield National Park, you'll visit three waterfalls – the Wangi, Florence and Buley rock holes – and get the opportunity to swim in all three. Lunch is prepared in the park by your guide – a big bush picnic with an array of wraps, cold meats, bread, salad and fruit. Snacks are also included along the way if you're ever feeling peckish. Local and knowledgeable guides will give you thorough commentary throughout the day and stop for lots of photo opportunities. Marvel at the magnetic and cathedral termite mounds, and take time to visit the butterfly farm. Return to your accommodation in Darwin, or on Sundays and Thursdays, at the famous Mindil Beach Markets.

3. Darwin: Litchfield National Park and Berry Springs Day Tour

Litchfield National Park is one of the Top Ends' most popular parks, due to its opportunity to save swimming (where indicated) and its closeness to Darwin. We travel in small groups of between 6-10 guests only in a comfortable minivan and we will make sure you will be spoilt for the whole day. We will pick you up at your hotel at 8.00 am and will make our way to Litchfield National Park. Just sit back and enjoy the views through savanna woodlands and ancient sandstone country. We will be visiting Wangi Falls, and Florence Falls and have time for walks and a swim at the Buley rock holes, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery. Due to our small group size, we can tailor the day to your liking. Litchfield National Park is the home of the Cathedral and Magnetic Termite Mounds and we will stop and learn about these natural architects of the bush, the termites. Our professional and experienced guide will share the colorful regional history, of settlers, Aboriginal locals, and the first pioneers in the region with you. We offer a healthy Picnic Lunch (We contact you before the tour), or you can bring your own, or purchase a sandwich on the way to Litchfield. We offer fresh fruit, snacks, and iced water, for you all day. You will be traveling in a comfortable, air-conditioned Toyota Minivan and we have sunscreen, insect repellent, and swim noodles available for you. At the end of the day, on the way home we stop at Berry Springs for another swim and the option to drift down the warm stream of waterways at Berry Springs. What people are saying about Florence Falls Waterhole

Great day, made special by Will, tremendous guide great sense of humour. His knowledge of the bush was fabulous and very interesting. Got the balance just right on when to talk and have fun and when to impart his knowledge and guidance. Will's mate Dano the crocodile guide was a hoot, could spend a week with him and Will never be bored.

We had a great day in Litchfield. Enjoyed the commentary and it was good value as it included snacks, water and lunch. The best part was seeing the crocodiles on the cruise.

Epic day trip, thank you! Damo and Will are bloody legends with the crocs and overall area knowledge! Kept us laughing for the day, will come back!
