Your guide will tell you about the secrets and history of the Arno River as you cruise on its calm waters and admire the beautiful Palazzos that frame its ancient riverbed. See the Uffizi and the charming Ponte Vecchio from the water, and hear stories of the mysterious Vasari Corridor. Definitely a great experience that I would recommend to other travelers to Florence for the first time. My wife loves kayaking and boat excursions, so I thought it would be a nice idea to get this experience going down the Arno. It is unlike any experience walking on the streets, as you get to see the city from an entirely different perspective. Our guide was very nice and spoke in perfect English. She brought 2 bottles of wine to share between the 8 or so passengers, so that was a great little touch as well. She explained about the different buildings as well as the history and stories behind many of them. Our ride started at 6pm, so it was great to start in the light and end during sunset. It is not a long ride (1 hour), which was perfect for us, as we had many things to see and dinner reservations. Overall, I highly recommend this experience.

Very nice view from the Arno river!

It is very interesting see some icon places of Florence from the river. Our guide was knowledge and very kind . Some observations , in summer the wine must be cool and may be will nice if the boat go trough Michelangelo Piazza ! I loved , was something different to do!

Great experience down the river

The tour was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgable of the area and shared great information as we walked down to the river. While the boat tour itself is not very long (~45 minutes), it was adequate to explain lots of information about the bridges and historic locations near the river.
