Enjoy more free time to discover this fascinating city on your own. Next, visit the charming historical hamlet of Monteriggioni, a medieval village enclosed by its famous walls, which remained standing to this day. Afterward, you will cross the Chianti rolling hills and then arrive at a small and typical winery. There, taste 4 wines, and sample balsamic vinegar and other locally produced products. Your final stop is in Siena, where you will have free time to walk along the narrow medieval streets, admiring the splendid palaces, the Cathedral, Libreria Piccolomini, and the famous shell-shaped Piazza del Campo.

The guide (Kike ?) gave us the necessary information for each spot we visited and gave some useful tips along the way. The driver (Leonardo) was the perfect and smoothest driver I ever had on a tour. The bus was clean and air-conditioned (which was important on a hot sunny day). We stayed exactly the right amount of time at each spot (although a thorough visit of Siena would require at least a day in my opinion so don't expect to see everything, this is a "bullet point tour"). The highlight was the meal and wine tasting experience (which is one and the same thing). The meal had three courses as promised and did fill us up for the next leg of the journey. The wine was great and the "entertainer" at that spot was amazing ! The cat at the entrance was also a great addition

We enjoyed our trip and wish we could repeat it already! We didn't take extra tours as we wanted to explore on our own and not walk in big groups. The time in each stop was enough, maybe Siena needed some more. The lunch was nothing fancy but good value. My only criticism concerns the winery, as all the glasses were different then I got the smallest and hence the twice as little wine with each tasting. At least my neighbours in my table had a nice laugh about it!

This is a wonderfully organized tour!!!! Our host Maria Luisa is an amazing addition to this tour. She spoke English and Spanish and lead/met us to/at every destination!!!! We had about 1 1/2 hrs in San Gimignano (it’s enough to walk around, take pics, gelato); 45 min Castle Town; 1 hour great lunch and wine at the winery stop; and almost 3 hours in Siena. We opted out of the 1 hour guided tour in Siena and decided to walk around on our own. The only complaint I have is that the walks from the bus parking were too far in every city (about 10 min). Additionally, the meeting/end point is a 10 min walk further from the train station. All together it’s a 30 min speed walk from center of town. We took a cab to get there. I recommend it, because of a long day it can get really tiresome to walk so much. Otherwise, everything about the tour itself is wonderfully organized and a great way to see a few destinations in one day and to spend time !!!
