We were quite pleased with this tour on the whole. We didn’t have to queue to buy tickets though the queue wasn’t long, a few tour groups had also bought tickets in advance. Within 3 hours, the guide showed us the key art pieces and shared history & layout of the gallery. After we parted with the guide, we stayed on to look at other artworks which we could appreciate better after the guide’s explanation.

The tour of the Uffizi was wonderful! Giacomo really brought the historical characters to life. He also clearly explained the evolution in art by contrasting different motifs and artistic techniques. Giacomo certainly loved the art and brought us along in his fondness. I loved the stories he told to personalize the characters.

The whole point of this tour was early entrance. I found it disheartening to see group after group enter the museum while our guides were organizing various language groups. By the time we got in it was packed. Once inside the tour guide was good but the crowded experience caused by a late start diminished the experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and took us to the important artist. The amount of time for the tour was good.
