Overall my sister and I had a very nice time, fun day. Scenery on the trip was great. I'm not a wine lover so won't comment on the quality of that. The first winery was in a beautiful location but the snacks meant to pair with the wines being tasted was meagre - some little pretzel bite thingees which were hardly touched because they were so hard and a salami and cheese platter that scarcely had enough for everyone to take a piece of each to pair with the first wine and which was not replenished, leaving nothing for the subsequent wines. Lovely scenery though! Second winery wasn't in such a spectacular location but the employee there was very knowledgeable, we got a good overview of the process and saw the equipment. Food for the pairings was much more substantial and laid out on individual plates. Would have preferred stopping at a different village for our free time. Nothing to do there, just overpriced shops. The longish walk from/to the stazione for the coach was unexpected!

This tour was a great way of seeing the Chianti region. Our guide Katrina was full of information regarding the history. The first stop was extremely picturesque and the whole group sang Happy Birthday to my husband thanks to Katerina’s instigation. This was appreciated. The second stop was in an old convent with an informative wine connoisseur. Free time in Radda was really pretty. Antonino drove us very professionally around the windy narrow roads.

Excellent tour. Convenient and easy to find meeting point. Comfortable bus ride. First stop had amazing views. Very authentic and great wine. Second stop was very informative and their wine was superb. Perfect 1/2 day tour in the Tuscan countryside to get you out of the crowded tour attractions.
