Meet your guide at your hotel and head to the Itaipu Hydroelectric Dam, 20 minutes from Foz do Iguaçu and a world leader in clean and replaceable energy production. Itaipu is located in the middle of Brazil and Paraguay, so you’ll visit both countries on this tour. Your tour begins with a 10-minute video at the Visitor Center, which tells the history of the construction of the dam. The guided tour continues by bus outside of the reservoir with three stops to allow you to appreciate its panoramic views.
