Full description
This 5 hour tour departs from your Hervey Bay accommodation. You will depart the marina, and travel to Fraser Island, across beautiful blue, clear water. Look out for Australian wildlife including dolphins, turtles and whales on the way. A sumptuous morning tea will be served on the journey over. You will then arrive at Fraser Island's western beach and/or Pelican Banks, depending on the season and weather. Beaches on the western side of Fraser Island are far more remote and untouched. Pelican Bank is a sandbank on the Great Sandy Strait which is utter perfection due to the clear water. Swim, kayak, fish, walk, play and explore this beautiful location. An Aussie BBQ lunch will be provided as you cruise back from Fraser Island. This includes locally-sourced ingredients such as quality rib fillet steaks, gourmet sausages, fresh Hervey Bay prawns, 3 delicious and nutritious salads, and bread. Cold drinks will be available for purchase at the licensed affordable bar.

Stunning day on the water and on Fraser Island. The cruise was comfortable, lunch was good and the crew were great. We set up for a couple of hours on the a pristine section of the Island. Lots of swimming, the water was a beautiful temperature and gorgeous colour. The highlight for the kids (and us big kids too) was the 3 seater tubing.

It was a beautiful gorgeous pristine beach to spend a few hours on. Water sports if you want, lots of swimming, bar available and food supplied. The time went so fast and we had the beach to ourselves. Fantastic value for money to visit such a special part of Fraser Island. Do it!

If you want to spend a relaxing day on the beach on Fraser Island, you've come to the right place. At the beginning there is a crossing of about 35 minutes. When you arrive there you anchor and you cross over to the island with a small dinghy. You now have the opportunity to go for a walk on the beach, snorkel (there is not much to see here now), sit relaxed under pavilions or just sunbathe. What was a highlight for me was letting go with the dinghy on a kind of air mattress and jumping into the sea from the approx. 4 m high deck. The meat for the BBQ was freshly grilled on board and tasted good to me personally. The captain and the crew were very nice and always friendly. All in all a successful trip.
