We booked this on a whim while we were staying in Galway so that we could check out the Cliffs of Moher as the weather was expected to be sunny. This trip was very straightforward - you meet up and get on a coach bus that drives you to the Cliffs, you have 2 hours to explore, and then you are taken back to Galway. If you are looking for a ride to the Cliffs and a decent amount of time to explore then this it the trip for you! The bus driver did not provide any commentary or facts so this really was just a ticket for the ride up there and for the admittance fee to the cliffs. If you want a tour that provides more information as you drive along the coast then this is not the tour for you. For the price we were happy with what was provided. Especially nice since it was only 5 hours of our day in total so we could still do other activities in Galway in the morning and after drop off which was at 5 pm. We had enough time to hike the cliffs, eat at the cafe, and go to the gift shop.

I chose this type of tour because I didn't have much time available. The meeting point is easy to find, very close to the Galway bus station. The driver spoke only in English. The bus was new, comfortable, with wifi, USB sockets to charge phones, toilets on board. We had a full 2 hours to independently visit the Cliffs and eventually the museum. The round trip took about 1.5 hours. Highly recommended!

The staff where really nice and friendly and the Cliffs of Moher were stunning however we took an hour and a half only on the left side of the cliffs and then we had to rush to see the "museum" so I would advise to keep track of the time and to wear not only comfortable shoes to walk but also waterproof and the higher the better so you don't get your pants dirty.
