Full description
This private tour to Neuschwanstein castle begins at your hotel at 8:30 AM, where your guide will introduce themselves before the short 50-minute ride to Neuschwanstein castle. Once there, you can skip the lines as your guide moves through the crowds and brings you to the castle the fastest and most pleasant way. En route, you will be entertained by the history of the castle, Bavaria, and the life and death of Ludwig II. After your tour of the interior of the castle, your guide will bring you to the village of Oberammergau for shopping, sight-seeing, and lunch. After plenty of time to enjoy this picturesque Alpine village, there will be a short stop at the Ettal Monastery with a guided tour of the church and the grounds.
