Nice tour, nice guide and on time departure and arrival (important when booking a tour within a cruise). But unfortunately the weather did not cooperate on the second part of the tour, so that the visit to Lake Djupvatn was completely useless due to thick fog. Here I would like more flexibility and foresight. An alternative to the completely wasted hour drive would have been very welcome.

The meeting point at the Joker market is easy to find and not far from the pontoon bridge for the cruise ship. Nice way there with quaint shops and cafes. The trip started late because another group of cyclists was included, who then cycled down from Djupvasshyita at 1030 m. However, this also meant that we were stuck in traffic for a very long time behind all the other excursion buses. The bus ride is winding with spectacular views and lots of snow in June. Lake Djupvatn is frozen all year round, on the second lake after that great ice floes swam. In the glorious weather, incredibly beautiful photos were taken. Unfortunately only English-language guidance despite announced 2nd language German. On the way back, you should definitely get off at the top of the waterfall and walk down the great stairs to the harbor (about 30 minutes, impressive impressions including rainbows in the waterfall). Unfortunately, despite the sun, without the Dalsnibba Skywalk.

Everything went super uncomplicated and smoothly. From booking to the excursion itself. Punctual pick-up at the meeting point. Thanks to our tour guide Lucia, who led us through the area with wit and knowledge, and our bus driver Angel, who sweated a lot when a car or bus came too close to us on the switchbacks.
