What people are saying about Gettysburg
Arrived at meet up location to find horses saddled up and ready to be distributed to riders. Sign in was efficient and informative. Be prepared with riders liability waivers filled out and signed in your email communication with vendor (Inadvertently, I completely missed this step through email communication, but was able to complete the on-line forms and submit on the spot). You are in charge of properly sizing the provided helmet, so make adequate time for this step. Bring along a water bottle (2-hour ride without stops); your horse is outfitted with a bottle holder. Also, since there are no potty-stops on this excursion, think about taking care of those needs ahead of time at the Campground port-a-potty. Members of my group had never before been on a horse. The instructions and supervision given by the staff were very good for these first-time riders (ages 8 and 10). The day was perfect for a trail ride. The guide was amazing in his monologue of battlefield events.
Kevin Bryant was the best and most knowledgeable guide I've ever met. He was engaging and brought the battle to life for us. My daughter was mesmerized! I would highly recommend this tour. It's cost effective, enjoyable, and educational - all wrapped up in one!
Loved horseback riding through the battlegrounds... the hide guide was super knowledgeable and did a great job while on horseback. I can't wait to do it again.
Very worth it. Was not only a ghost tour but also some history which made they experience even better
Our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to paint a great picture of what the battle was like.
