We had a great time on the horseback tour and would highly recommend this tour. The staff that provided the horses was friendly and well organized. They gave a great explanation of how to handle the horse. So even if you aren't an experienced rider, you will have a great time. The water bottle holders on the saddle was a great touch especially with our August ride. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, clear and easy to understand.
Too hot outside but that actually probably made it more historically accurate . Our guide, Kevin, was very knowledgeable and kept us engaged throughout the tour. The tour itself was able to take us to parts of the actual battlefield that are inaccessible by vehicles. Definitely the way to see the battlefield, highly recommend.
Richard was fantastic, very knowledgeable and wasn't bothered by answering questions that we had. As someone who has done the self driving tour which can get confusing, Richard was great at pointing out landmarks to make more sense out of what actually happened at Gettysburg.
We had an excellent two-hour battleground tour with Truman Eyler. His wealth of knowledge, plain-spoken way, and communication skills are excellent. I highly recommend using registered battlefield guides for your tour of Gettysburg.
The staff was so helpful and informative about the horses. Very caring people. If you never rode a horse before, the staff will make you feel very comfortable about riding one. The horses were so calm. GREAT AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE!
