      We were only in Ghent a short time so we decided to take the boat to try and see more of the city in this time. Easy to find the ticket point, the boat gets quite busy so we had to sit at the front (which we liked as we got better photos!) guide was good- gave lots of information and spoke multiple languages! Nice way to spend 40 minutes. We found a nice bar on the boat that we didn’t know before- so as soon as the tour finished we went and found it! Nice end to our short trip in Ghent

      Het succes is sterk Weerd afhankelijk. Bij wijlen is de drukte op die waterwegen toch wel wat benauwelijk maar het is meer dobberen dan varen. Goedkoop (9 Euro) en vriendelijke bediening. Ietwat trage registratie of inschrijven en daarom aangeraden de ticketten op voorhand te hebben. Goede historische uitleg al kan het wat meer en misschien ook wat meer in het Engels. Maar het voornaamste was toch goed uitgelegd.

      La visite était sympa, mais le guide parlait plus en anglais et en néerlandais qu’en français. Je comprends qu’on était pas beaucoup à parler français ce jour-là , mais n’empêche que ça aurait bien d’avoir plus d’explications dans sa langue. Heureusement qu’on comprend aussi l’anglais, et que donc ça n’a pas été très grave
