Full description

On this 4-hour Gibraltar package, begin on a dolphin cruise onboard a yellow catamaran. You will have a personal multi-media guide as well, included in your ticket price. Expert guides provide live commentary and a marine biologist describes everything that you’ll encounter. Learn about dolphins and we can protect these special creatures. They are sighted on 99 percent of the tours.

At times, you can see pods of 40 to 500 dolphins. Watch common, striped, and bottlenose dolphins swim up to the boat and play. They sometimes put on a spectacular display of leaps directly at your feet.

Tours depart 4 times each afternoon from Marina Bay, where you can relax and soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere both before and after your trip. Each tour takes in breathtaking views of both the African and European coastline and the legendary Pillars of Hercules.

One of Gibraltar's highlights is riding to the top of the Rock by cable car, the best location to spot the famous Barbary apes. A pack of wild apes, the famous Barbary macaques, will give you an entertaining acrobatics performance. Hide all plastic bags to avoid robbery and keep a friendly distance, especially if the young ones are around.

Relax with a beverage and light snack while enjoying the spectacular vistas. The Top of the Rock Souvenir Shop is also packed with unique gifts unavailable in town. From the terraces of the top station, gaze over the town below, look north towards the Sierra Nevada over the Costa del Sol and east over the blue Mediterranean Sea, and take in the views south across the Strait of Gibraltar to the Rif Mountains of North Africa. You’ll have views of 2 continents, 3 countries, and the meeting point of 2 great bodies of water! You'll be able to appreciate why so many wished to conquer this small isthmus and why it played such an important part in world history.

Can not complain about the dolphin trip. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and informative about geography, sealife and Gibraltar, (which is an amazing place!) My only gripe is you have to make your own way to the cable car, which we were unable to ride due to wind! We weren't able to get a refund as we were returning back to the UK that day and the operator had closed. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and courteous and Gibraltar is an amazing place to visit.

Took my Grandson to Gibraltar who loves nature and wildlife, he thoroughly enjoyed the experience especially the apes at the top of the rock. Price through trip advisor was very good value for money. We saw lots of dolphins whilst out in the bay and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful

The dolphin watch was so worthwhile. We were out on the water for about an hour and saw so many dolphins. The crew were very knowledgeable and it was clear this wasn’t just a job for them. They really care about their survival. The cable car up to the top of the rock was quick and well organised. I’ve been before but it was the first time my daughter had seen the monkeys - she’s already planning her next visit to Gibraltar
