As someone with advanced arthritis in my knees, I was pleasantly surprised at the pace of the walking tour (Chinatown through North Beach to Pier 33 - Alcatraz. There are hills to climb and the combined tour is 3+ hours, but it was a nicely timed tour and a comfortable walk with a few stops (to shop or to listen to a local story, plus an hour break for lunch). The combination of the tours gives non-locals a nice flavor of the city in one outing - between the shops, markets and a tour of a fortune cookie factory. Would highly recommend!
Very easy and fun! Tour guide Maggie was funny and friendly and very knowledgeable. The Alcatraz tour was self guided which was nice and then the Chinatown tour was interesting and the fireworks and fortune cookies at the end was fun
Ted was very organized and informative. Alcatraz was great to explore, and we really enjoyed walking Chinatown with a guide for the deeper history rather than just staring at buildings.
It was great, maybe a portable speaker for the guide for those that couldn’t hear everything due to background noise
Ellen was amazing and very knowledgeable! Will definitely recommend this tour to people visiting the area!
