Being the oldest protected rain forest reserve in St. Lucia, the Aerial Rain forest Tram adventure seamlessly blends the excitement of zip-lining, with the comfort of an open-air gondola. As you begin your journey, you will ascend to the upper layers of the forest canopy. The middle layer allows you to enjoy the flora and fauna, while descending gives you a panoramic view of the island's northern tip. You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, who, using their expert knowledge, will point out the varying species of birds, plants and animals. You will also learn the early uses, history and properties of the various trees in the forest.

You will be taken to the beautiful Greenwood Terrace property, where you will be greeted by an expert chef, to begin your traditional St. Lucian cooking journey. Once the class begins, you will be treated to a glass of wine, while you enjoy an interactive session of learning about new ingredients, and the ways they prepared. As the class proceeds, you will have the opportunity to 'get your hands dirty', while you prep, season, fry and chop a myriad of ingredients, that will be turned into culinary works of art. After you have enjoyed your fill, take the opportunity to explore the tropical garden filled with over 200 species of plants. Or you can visit the mini museum to get a glimpse of St. Lucia's interesting history, through relics and artifacts.

Start your day of adventure with a convenient pick-up at your hotel and begin the wonderful journey to the western side of St. Lucia - a destination where you can seemingly step back in time. You will first stop at Morne Fortune, at the Morne Lay-by lookout point, that offers a panoramic view of the Castries Harbor and an up-close glimpse of the over 200-year-old Governor General's House. From there, you will make your way to the Iconic Marigot Bay to capture amazing photos of the bay and the lush surrounding mangrove forest. After leaving Marigot bay, you will pass through the coastal villages en route which includes the banana plantations at Roseau and the fishing villages of Anse-la-raye and Canaries. Both of which are surrounded by amazing tropical vegetation and gorgeous views. As you approach Soufriere you will begin to see the twin peaks and get lost in their majesty. Whilst in Soufriere, you will receive a guided tour of the drive-in volcano ear Soufriere and the opportunity to see the bubbling Sulphur springs. Finally, you will visit a working cocoa plantation where you will learn how cocoa, sugar cane and coconuts are processed using traditional methods. You will also get the opportunity to explore the grounds and learn the interesting history of the plantation.

This 2-hour St. Lucia Segway tour starts at our Segway practice track, where you’ll have a 20-minute orientation session. Traveling along St. Lucia's east coast, your tour journeys into the heart of the rain forest to the welcome center. Your specialized guides will be there to assemble your harness and provide you with a safety briefing. Once you're geared up, climb to the top and get ready to soar at heights ranging from 30 to 50 feet (9 to 15 m). Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the region's verdant landscape while gliding over treetops and rivers.
