The very early morning departure was a negligible sacrifice to make for this enjoyable experience. Our driver/ guide Trevor got us up to the mountain and back, smoothly and safely, while providing soft Hawaiian music on the way up and interesting and historical information on the return. The black starlit sky provided a wonderful view, complete with a shooting star!, while waiting for the sunrise. Although the clouds prevented us from seeing the sunrise, the mountain, the views, and surrounding colors in the sky were enjoyable. Afterwards we had a delicious breakfast at a welcoming and rustic restaurant, with a view. Adding to the already enjoyable experience was a full rainbow that lit the morning sky. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

Easy pickup from hotel and right on time. Bus driver and tour guide Glenn, informative and entertaining. the warm jackets available were greatly appreciated and sunrise was beautiful. Great breakfast at Kula Ranch hit the spot, located with spectacular valley views. A great experience!
