Discover the 36 streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, each known for their historic trades including blacksmiths, silver shops, paper shops, headstone makers, silk traders, and jewelers. Now famous for its artisans, silk shops, bars, clubs and particularly its local cuisine, walk the streets and sample what is a vibrant and bustling part of the city. Stop at the various vendors and taste what’s on offer. If you’re feeling thirsty there are plenty of juice shops, bars, and cafés to satiate you. Join the locals as they cruise amongst the shops, stocking up on their supplies at the local markets, or sit back and relax and take in the quaint atmosphere. We had the chance to visit "secret" places in the city and taste some local food. I would have appreciate a bit more information about the food we tasted and its connection with local history and culture. All in all a good experience and a nice way to discover aspects of the old quarter.

Booked the private tour and don't regret it. My tour guide Harry was great! He brought me places I'd have never found by myself... He explained everything to me - about the food and Hanoi. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot. The tour took more than three hours. The food and drinks were great!

Excellent tour, really enjoyed it, so much food!

Mia was a great guide and she introduced us to the city and gave us confidence to try the street foods which carried us for our entire trip. There was so much food from bahn mi, pho, satay, local specialty drinks. Delicious. Mia was knowledgeable and fun and her English was excellent. We would highly recommend Mia and this tour, especially if you are just starting your trip in Vietnam
