We were in Hanoi for only one day and this was a good way to see all the sights of Hanoi. Whilst fast paced the tour was still enjoyable. I give only four stars as I feel the tour guide could have had a bit more patience and empathy for other group members.

The tour was very well designed for the time allowed. The visit to the lacquer factory/shop was unexpectedly interesting and a must do if you are visiting Hanoi. Our guide was there to pick us up on time, he was polite and very informative and went beyond the structured plan to customize our day, as some of us wanted to do some extra shopping. The lunch provided was delicious and at a very nice location, roof top with a nice view of the Old Quarter.

Our guide was Kem, he took us to all of the major historical and important city sites, while providing us valuable information such as how the city is laid out and how all of the neighborhoods fit together interspersed with insights to Vietnamese and Hanoian culture. Lunch at the local restaurant is really good. A surprising window into the life of ordinary Vietnamese.
