Mani, our carver, was amazing. What a terrific experience it was watching this chunk of mango wood turn into a tiki. Mani was patient, helpful, friendly, kind and full of great history. My daughter and I cannot believe the amazing tikis that we left with. We'll definitely be taking another class upon our return to The Big Island.

We had an amazing time during our Tiki Carving workshop. We arrived to a nice hideaway not too far from downtown Kona, staff was friendly and energetic; we were driven about .5 miles up the hill in a UTV to a quiet vista to have an intimate class overlooking the ocean. We were guided in our carving and were able to choose the expression and details for each piece. Our teacher was positive, calm and encouraging. The whole experience was relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend if you are looking for an experience to understand the rich history and culture of what Tiki is for locals.

This is by far one of the best experiences I have ever ever had on vacation! Maddie and his brother are amazing not only in sharing the history of wood carving but also at teaching. There is a beautiful view and we laughed not only with amazing memories of a fun time a great new friends and some tiki guys that are going to Watch over our home. I highly recommend this tour it is it hidden gem!! I cannot say enough good things! Also the experience with the app forget your guide was very helpful and the team easy to work with. Definitely worth the value and the time I wouldn’t have traded this experience for anything in the world it was truly Authentic Hawaiian!
