Francesca was our guide. She was so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to; obviously very passionate about Heidelberg (having moved there from Italy 11 years ago) and this was conveyed through her tour. She is softly spoken and very easy to listen to. It was lovely that there were only 3 of us on the English speaking tour, so a very intimate feel. The tour was supposed to last 1.5 hours but ended up being 2 hours, Francesca obviously wanted to give us as much information as possible. Highly recommended, and even better if you get Francesca!

This tour was brilliant! We had Francesca as our guide; she was so lovely and knowledgeable! We learnt a lot about the history of the town and the origins/meanings of the famous buildings/statues there. Very interesting! Francesca was brilliant and was able to answer all of our questions. We also went into the Student prison which is definitely worth a visit. We would highly recommend this tour. Very good value for money.

Very good

A very good guide. I only remember the first name: Baerbel. As non-natives we easily could understand her. She speaks clear and in 'hoch-deutsch'. Interesting stories about some highlights of Heidelberg. We would give her a tip, but she left us and the group at the end of the tour in the student-prison.
