One of Bohemia's prettiest towns, Cesky Krumlov is a living gallery of elegant Renaissance-era buildings housing charming cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops, and galleries. In 1992, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With the convenience of a licensed professional tour guide, get acquainted with Cesky Krumlov. The town has been bustling since medieval times, and the historical center is exquisitely preserved. Then, march off to Krumlov Castle for a taste of the Renaissance. Krumlov Castle is the second biggest in Bohemia, after Prague Castle. This jewel attracts visitors from all over the world. (The castle is closed from 31st October - 21st March; we can visit the town of Ceske Budejovice along the way instead). Later, dine at one of the local pubs or restaurants for lunch, where you can enjoy the local beer, Eggenberg. You can explore at your own pace, saving time for souvenir shopping if you wish. If you are finished early, you also have the option of adding the nearby town of Ceske Budejovice or the Hluboka Castle to your tour.

This lively cosmopolitan town has a unique atmosphere and is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and countryside. Dominated by the castle stretching over the Vltava River, Český Krumlov’s narrow cobbled streets are lined with ancient patrician houses. The streets are full of artists, music festivals, coffee shops, and ancient taverns.  After traditional Czech lunch in a charming and renowned local restaurant, you’ll visit the monumental castle, with its Baroque theater, astonishing view from the main tower, and castle moat with bears, who have made their home here since the 17th century. And later you'll have a moment to yourself, an hour or an hour and a half to wander the magical streets of this beautiful Renaissance city. The program is up to you. You can visit the beautiful Egon Schiele Art Centre, the magical Gothic Church of St. Vitus, or just browse the delightful local shops, sit on the banks of the Vltava River and enjoy a cup of coffee... After a full day of sightseeing, return to Prague for approximately 7 or 8 PM.
