Had an overall pretty good time. Wasn’t impressed with the snorkeling. I was really looking forward to that. That was one main reason I scheduled this. It rained the day before and the waters were super cloudy. Couldn’t see anything and didn’t get to see any sea turtles. So if you’re wanting to snorkel with turtles I wouldn’t recommend this trip.

8. Hawaii: Waterfall Hike, Kayaking, and Paddleboard Adventure
Spend the day away from busy Honolulu and surround yourself in the beauty of Hawaii’s North Shore. Start the day with pickup from your accommodation, then head off on your adventure. Choose between a waterfall hike or a paddleboard/kayak adventure. If you choose the hike, you'll enjoy a guided hike to one of the region’s most beautiful waterfalls, Waimea, and feel immersed in the gorgeous greenery that surrounds you. Then cool off with a refreshing dip in the water. If you choose the kayaking/paddleboarding adventure, you'll kayak or paddleboard on Haleiwa River. After the activity of your choice, enjoy a stroll along one of the North Shore's many white sandy beaches, sample local coffee and more.
The first stop on the trip is Green World Farms. Just a heads up, the bus does not allow coffee or drinks onboard from pick up time until we get to Green World Farms. The bus drops off people for the kayaking/paddle boarding first and then secondly drops off people for the waterfall hike. We chose to go to Waimea Falls. When you’re dropped off, there is no guided tour and you just walk to the falls yourself (0.75 miles there and 0.75 miles back). The waterfall is beautiful and is refreshingly cold. You also have to wear a life jacket (provided near falls) in order to go into the water. I would recommend bringing water shoes if you have them as you need to climb down some rocks to get into the water. The bus driver gives you a time to get back to the entrance to be picked up again (1.5 hrs total). We had lunch at Fumi’s which is cash only so make sure to bring cash ($15 per plate). The garlic butter shrimp is delicious! Overall, an enjoyable day!

On-board the catamaran, spray from the warm blue water mists over the nets and seats at the front of the boat. Enjoy the smooth, quiet, stable ride that the large sailing catamaran provides. In addition to peaceful sounds of the ocean and the wind, this trip includes lunch, along with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. There are also 2 convenient restrooms large enough for a change of clothing on-board the vessel.
We had a real awesome and fun time! Would definitely do the whole experience again!

What people are saying about Honolulu
Paulo was very knowledgeable about the basics of surfing and he made it EXTREMELY easy and VERY enjoyable!! I still can’t believe I stood up on a surf board for the first time and caught a wave in Hawaii! My friend and I did the 1 hour, 2-person surfing lesson. It was nice that we didn’t have to share our lesson time with strangers. The hardest part was paddling out, so I highly recommend just doing 1 hour if you’re a beginner, as I was exhausted by the end of it! Outstanding lessons! Thank you Paulo!!!
(Beginner/intro dive) Awesome experience!!! Extra friendly. Professional. Really made it easy to understand and fun!! They give you classes which was brief and easy to follow, walk you through with the scuba gear then the dive instructor works with each individual till they are comfortable. Last you dive as a group supervised. It was a great experience for me and my teenage son who were diving for first time.
It’s was an amazing experience. I will try again take this. I love it! Teams was professional, patient and kind. Congratulations for this.
Michael was a great teacher and a very kind person. He really made sure we knew what we were doing and helped us catch those waves!
Such a great experience. The instructor was great and we saw dolphins, turtles, eels, and fish!
