What people are saying about House and Thermopolium of Vetutius Placidus

Angie was amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, funny, patient and a great story teller. I'd love to go on another trip just to hear her talk. Antonio our driver was lovely. Lillia our guide at Pompeii was very informative. Although it was a long day we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Rest stops were built in and it was possible to buy snacks at the stop. We were able to get lunch at Pompeii, very reasonably priced.

Our driver Francesco was great and the pick ups and drop offs /meeting points were very good. It was brilliant to have Michele the archeologist who has worked on both sites. He was an excellent guide full of terriffic anecdotes and the whole trip was fabulous. We have very many happy memories. It was nice to be in a small group of historical and cultural enthusiasts.

We had an excellent tour with Sasa. It was extremely informative but still relaxed and fun. He was accommodating to adjust the tour to things we requested. A fantastic tour.

We loved the excursion, both the visit to Pompeii (our magnificent guide, Elisa, for her knowledge and friendliness) and the climb to Vesuvius, accompanied by Rita.

Just fantastic!! Really well organised and the guide was both clear, informative and funny!!
