Your final stop will be at an incense stick village where you will see incense being created.  Get dropped off in Hue city center in the evening.

On the way, you will make a rest stop at the famous Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, where the border between South & North Vietnam was located during the war. Next, you will stop by a local restaurant where you will tuck into authentic Vietnamese dishes. After lunch, sail along a river by boat to reach the iconic Phong Nha Cave. This cave is truly a marvel of nature and is hidden away in the dense jungle of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park in Central Vietnam. After visiting the cave, you will start the return journey back to your hotel in Hue, where you will arrive at around 7.30 PM.

Situated in a quiet area, visiting Ms. Thuy’s house is a true exploration of rural Vietnam and a fascinating insight into the skill of conical hat making, as well as the interesting life of this friendly and open woman. Next up is the tomb of King Tu Duc, the most popular and impressive of all the royal mausoleums. It houses courtyards, pavilions, temples and chambers. Your tour guide will tell you all about its fascinating history and the king’s life of imperial luxury, from his 104 wives to the unfortunate ending for the 200 burial servants!  Just before lunch, you will visit Bunker Hill which overlooks the Perfume River and boasts amazing panoramic views. The area served as a great military vantage point by providing secret observation posts for the surrounding territory. Many bunkers still remain so you’ll have the chance to get up close and investigate them. Then you will have lunch and recharge your batteries at a serene nunnery pagoda and then head off for to your next destination: Tiger Arena, an ancient colosseum where tigers and elephants would fight to the death all in the name of royal entertainment. The final leg of your tour today takes us to the iconic seven story Thien Mu Pagoda, the unofficial symbol of Hue city. From here you will board a classic dragon boat and cruise down the Perfume River back towards the city, where your guide will take you back to your hotel.

08h30: Departure at Hue city center by boat. Coming to Thuy Bieu Village, you cycle under the shade of the pomelo trees. Visit the communal house of Luong Quan village. The place to worship the village god and the place where villagers gather every year on holidays. In Thuy Bieu, tourists visit ancient garden houses bearing the characteristics of Hue and garden houses with hundreds of years old age, typical for the architectural style of the ancient capital. Continue to join in daily life with the profession of making incense, painting in the countryside, etc., which are additional jobs from the field work. 11h00: Enjoy a local lunch in the garden house: Green salad, fried spring rolls, mixed figs… The dishes are made from clean local ingredients by skillful hands of Hue women. You take part in learning how to make stick tea jams and herbal foot baths. You'll be able to enjoy the work you've made yourself and receive a small packet of jam as a gift to take home. 12h00: Return to Toa Kham Prier by boat. End tour.
