Unfortunately, the German-speaking guide was not motivated, whereas the English-speaking one was great. Muchmed tried very hard and cared about the well-being of each participant. Visiting a perfume/oil shop at the end of the tour was totally inappropriate and took up a lot of time that I would have preferred to spend in the museum or visiting the Sphinx. Overall, however, it was a fantastic experience to see one of the wonders of the world live. Thanks!

The trip was great. I was picked up from the hotel at 1:15 am. The first stop was the Egyptian Museum. Then it was time to eat. Before going to the pyramids, he and we went to a papyrus factory. After the pyramids we went to the Sphinx and before returning home to an oil and perfume factory. The guide Ahmed was great. Explained everything to us, was funny and always looked for the best option for us. I found it a pity that we spent time in the papyrus factory and in the oil-perfume factory that we would have needed longer in the museum or the pyramids. Of course we should also buy papyrus pictures and / or oils. These sales transactions were unnecessary for the trip! You have to know that you rush through everything. The Hurghada - Cairo route is 500 km each. Therefore, there is not much time on site. But for a small impression and to be able to cross the sights off the bucket list, it was great.

We are a family of four, my children are 19 and 15 years old. Our tour started at 2am in the morning. There were two drivers who took turns on the way. At least three stops were made, for toilet or snacks. On the way we picked up our guide Ahmed. Ahmed was very hard working, friendly and told us a lot about the excavations. We were a small group with a total of five people (we as a family were already four people). The drive to Cairo is a bit exhausting, but it was definitely worth it. I would recommend to everyone!! Seeing and touching the pyramids live is something else
