Enjoy a convenient pick-up at your hotel in Hurghada, Visit the Temple of Karnak and admire the columned halls, chapels, and sacred lake. Enjoy lunch at a selected restaurant in Luxor before heading to the other bank of the Nile River in a traditional motorboat. Explore the City of the Dead and the Colossi of Memnon. Admire the only remains of the Temple of Amenhotep III and visit the Valley of the Kings. Discover the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most famous queens of ancient Egypt. The pick up at our hotel was very early (3:30) but once we arrived in Luxor it was definitely worth it! We visited all the important sights together with a guide who knew a lot. After a delicious dinner we went to the (neat!) hotel for a few hours of sleep. We were picked up again early but this time for a beautiful balloon ride at sunrise. Really amazing! After breakfast at the hotel we returned to Hurghada, the rest of the group had not booked the overnight stay and balloon flight, so we had a private ride back with our family.

It was a very long day and walking and visiting all of the sights was very hard but it was woth it. We had an excellent guide (SHIRA) who gave us so much inside information - just brilliant! In addition she was a very nice person. Also the manager on the tour back to Hurghada provided so much information about normal life in Egypt - it was great. And we learned a lot !! It was really appreciated!

The organization, the pick-up and the travel companion worked great, the trip to Luxor was a highlight of our vacation. The only pity was that the balloon ride could not be carried out due to strong winds, this is force majeure for which the organizers are not responsible. We got a refund of EUR 35 per person for the missed balloon ride. Our travel companion Allah looked after us perfectly. Our guide in Luxor - Ahmet - gave us a lot of input on the individual sights, it was very interesting. Many thanks to the entire support team Allah and Ahmet for this great time!
