Fun tour

Our guide was friendly and gave us a lot of information. The small family distillery we went to first was best place to purchase your single malt as it is not currently distributed in US as they go through a distributor change so is something you can feel special about. They also had a special single cask 230 bottle run only available at the distillery for only 60L but also had some super high end options in the 1200+ range if you want to go big. lol I passed on the Glenfiddich tour since had been there before and went up to the castle ruin a bit up the road from the distillery. The inside of the castle ruin is very interesting photo opp if you do not want to do the long tour. The lemon tea and lemon muffin in the cafe was good and you could still walk around and see the two old delivery vehicles and the older non-duty warehouses.

A delightful whiskey tour , family owned Benromach and Glenfiddich were great . Super tour of the region with a North sea stop , Spey river and Craigellachie bridge, Sueno's stone , Elgin and the Cathedral were charming for our lunch break. I loved the combo and interests , Scottish music was delightful, as was Helen , our guide , a rare precious Scottish jewel herself . A talented highlander tale weaver ! I highly recommend a day from Inverness with this Rabbie Clan , a memorable journey indeed.

Der Guide (Willie) war sehr witzig und hat uns mit allerlei Geschichten zu der Region oder einzelnen Punkten unterhalten. Strathisla war leider nicht verfügbar, weshalb der Guide mit uns gesprochen hat, ob wir lieber eine Tour in Carshu machen für 17£ oder für 7£ im Whisky Castle nicht nur mehr sondern auch eine größere Vielfalt an Whisky haben können. Wir haben uns für letzteres entschieden und es war großartig. Mittagessen konnte man in Aberlour gehen, was auch ein sehr schönes Städtchen ist. Auch wenn die Tour bis auf Glen Moray komplett anders als die Beschreibung war, würden wir definitiv wieder gehen.
