Almost everything was great, except that the transportation pass was not properly explained and we as a large family of 14 were not able to understand the reason of why we couldn’t used the pass 10th times as per the policy estates. My suggestion is that should be more clear on your written documents. By using this pass on the Ferry and underground train it counts as triple and we looked like fools when we tried using it on the regular train and not being able to use it again.

The guided tours were quite short, and you looked at the sights yourself. But the Istanbul Card was worth it to get past the queue. City guide was missing. The mosque's are usually free, so if you have time, you can get it cheaper without a pass. However, queuing is a real problem. Conclusion: Buying on site is a bit cheaper and queuing at the Hagia Sophia can only be avoided if you are there before 8 am. By the way: In 2022, the cistern cost 30 TL for Turkish pensioners, students, etc., 50 TL for normal citizens, and 190 TL for foreigners. Would be a good example for Germany.
