1. From Tel Aviv: Petra 2-Day Tour
Discover the ancient city of Petra on a guided overnight tour from Tel Aviv. Start with pickup from a central meeting point in Tel Aviv, and head toward the Jordanian border. Cross at King Hussein / Allenby border, and enter Jordan, driving through the Judean desert for about an hour. Continue towards Madaba, an ancient Jordanian city, and go up to the viewpoint of Mount Nebo. Stop for lunch and then visit Kerak, known for its Crusader-era castle. From here, travel to the Bedouin camp near Petra where you will enjoy traditional Bedouin hospitality, including an Arab-style dinner and a comfortable bed for the night. Before going to sleep, sit beneath the clear desert skies and stargaze, as you drink a cup of delicious Bedouin tea. On the second day, head to the ancient city of Petra, Jordan’s most treasured attraction. Admire the various structure carved into the red rocks of the soaring cliffs.
