Full description

Depart from your hotel in central Jerusalem and travel to Nazareth by air-conditioned bus. Listen to stories about the city, known as the birthplace of Mary and the childhood home of Jesus, and learn about its important place in Christianity. Upon arrival, visit some of Nazareth’s key religious sites. Discover the Church of the Annunciation, where the Angel Gabriel visited the Virgin Mary. See the Church of St Joseph, believed to stand on the site of Joseph’s carpentry workshop. Continue through the village of Kafer Kana, the site where Jesus performed the miracle of turning water into wine, and arrive at the Sea of Galilee. Pass the Church of the Multiplication and explore Capernaum, before continuting to the ruined synagogue where Jesus taught. See the modern church built over St Peter’s house, and pass through Tiberias to arrive at the Yardenit baptism site on the Jordan River. On the return journey, enjoy beautiful views of Mount Tabor, before your tour ends back at your hotel.

We had a great time seeing all the sights. Our guide was very knowledgeable. However we did have a problem with pick up (over an hour late) and drop off. We were dropped off in the center of Jerusalem and told a cab would be by in a few minutes to pick us up. It never came so after 30 minutes we hailed our own cab. We were given a small discount on our next tour though, to make up for the price of the cab.

Unforgettable trip

The trip was 100% what it should be and it was all thanks to the guide- Dan! Well organized, fun and a real encyclopedia of knowledge! Not a single place we visited or just passed by was left without an extensive comment with facts, dates and reading passages from historic documents and the Bible. Highly recommended!

Muy buena excursión. La guía genial. El único problema es que te sueltan en un restaurante que no hay nada al lado (85ILS pp). Y la comida... mala.. así que mejor llevaros algo del super y os esperáis abajo que hay mesas en el jardín mirando al mar de galilea.
