See the most important sights in Jerusalem on a full-day tour of the city. Begin with a drive to the Mount of Olives for panoramic views over the City of Peace. Then stop at Mount Zion to visit King David's tomb, the Room of the Last Supper, and Dormition Abbey. Enter the Old City and walk through the Armenian and Jewish quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo; the Roman Road. See the Jewish Western Wall, the Kotel, and continue to the Christian Quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Proceed to the New City to visit Yad Vashem; the Jewish memorial to the Holocaust. On Saturdays and Jewish holidays, instead of Yad Vashem, drive to Ein Karem, traditionally known as birthplace of John the Baptist; stroll in the narrow lanes of the picturesque village stopping by Mary's spring before continuing to visit the Church of Saint John the Baptist.

Was unfortunately picked up 20 minutes later than agreed and driven to a collection point. There the guests were sorted into buses (was very professional) and off we went. The guide told a lot about the history of the city and took us to a great vantage point on the Mount of Olives. The tour of the city took 3 hours including lunch. That was quite expensive (shawarma for 15 euros). Had previously eaten cheaper in town. It was obviously difficult for the guide to keep people together. Many attractions were well attended and unfortunately we often had to wait for individual guests, which affected the tour quality. It wasn't the guide, it was the people - but a slightly smaller group would have helped. Actually, the tour was supposed to last 10 hours - but it was hardly 7.

The tour was very interesting and we got a very good overview. The guide was very competent and friendly, spoke German and English well. However, the previous organization was disastrous. We were informed by email that we would be picked up from the hotel between 7:20 and 7:50. However, at 8:00 a.m., no one was there. Nobody could be reached by phone. Not even by email. In fact, we were then picked up 2 hours later at 9.15. Apparently no one knew that the Jerusalem Gold Hitel is in Jerusalem. Maybe the organizers of GetYourGuide should do some further training. Would help at work.

Mount Olive part was great , so was the Western wall , but 10 minutes at the Holy Sepulchre absolutely not enough. This is one the most important churches in the history of Christianity and we were given 10 minutes by our guide to explore. Afterwards , we were spent two hours at the Holocaust museum. I know that Holocaust is very important for Jewish people , but the time spent at different places should be more balanced. This trip wasn’t . Don’t advertise the Holy Sepulchre if you stop in front of the Church for 10 minutes, it is misleading your potential customers , tourists.
