Jervis Bay has been a Marine park for 18 years and is now one of the most unique and healthy ecosystems in Australia. That’s why the crystal clear waters of Jervis Bay and stunning unspoiled white sand beaches are home to over 100 bottlenose dolphins. Listen to the commentary about the history of Jervis Bay as you travel.  On this tour, you will have the privilege of watching these beautiful mammals. Discover pods of dolphins feeding around the reef systems, particularly Plantation Point and Callala. Sometimes they swim and race hundreds of meters to play on the bow. The Bottlenose dolphin is highly recognizable and known for its long snout and distinctive smile. Friendly and active, you will fall in love with them the moment that you lay eyes on them. 

After picking you up from Sydney Central at 7 am, we drive south to Jervis Bay, one of the most sought-after places in NSW (very Instagrammable!). On the way, we stop over for a quick coffee and/or brekkie. (Own expense) As we arrive in Jervis Bay, we get set to come on board a cruise to visit the local community of dolphins in the bay. Next, explore local cafes or restaurants in Huskisson to savour both good food and beautiful scenery. Then, we go on a kind of ‘beach crawl’ to the loveliest beaches in the area, where we may have a chance to spot some beautiful native birds, dolphins and even wallabies if we are lucky! The highlight of this trip, besides encountering the icon of Australian wildlife, is our stop at Hyams Beach – the whitest sand in the world according to The Guinness Book of Records. That’s where we find the perfect spot to relax and/or explore other beaches, by tracking on the White Sand Walk. As part of our journey, searching for stunning lookouts and wildlife, we will also visit Cave Beach, in the renowned Booderee National Park. That’s where we fully embrace the spirit of nature and spot some wild Kangaroos. We will then conveniently drive you back to Sydney Central, so all you have to do is sit back and relax. Departure from Sydney: Your day begins with a scenic drive from Sydney at 8:00 AM. As you travel south along the coast, take in the picturesque landscapes and listen to fascinating commentary from your guide. Kiama Blowhole: Your first stop is the charming coastal town of Kiama, home to the famous Kiama Blowhole. Watch the spectacular water spray, which can reach heights of up to 30 meters under the right conditions. Formed from basalt lava flows over 260 million years ago, this blowhole is the largest of its kind in the world. Capture breathtaking photos and take in the scenic coastline around this natural wonder. Jervis Bay: Continue your journey to the pristine waters of Jervis Bay, known for its powder-white sandy beaches and rich marine life. Grand Pacific Drive & Sea Cliff Bridge: On your return journey, take the scenic Grand Pacific Drive, renowned for its spectacular coastal views. A favorite among photographers, this bridge has been featured in numerous films and car commercials, offering a unique experience of driving above the ocean. Bald Hill Lookout: Make a brief stop at Bald Hill Lookout, where you can enjoy sweeping views over the Illawarra region. This elevated vantage point is perfect for taking in the breathtaking scenery before concluding your adventure. Return to Sydney: Relax as you journey back to Sydney, with an estimated arrival at your hotel around 7:00 PM.
