Choose to depart from Jujuy or Salta, and start your multi-day tour. DAY 1 After departing from central Salta or Jujuy, drive through the picturesque towns of Yala, Volcán, and Tumbaya. On the way, stop at the Seven Colors Hill viewpoint to appreciate the wonderful views of this multi-hued mountain illuminated by the sun. Arrive in the magical village of Purmamarca at the base of the Seven Colors Hill. Start by ascending the slopes of Cuesta del Lipán, Cuesta del Saladillo, and Abra de Potrerillos. Keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife including vicuñas and llamas along the way. When you reach 4,150-meters above sea level, be dazzled by the Salinas Grandes - a spectacular white salt plain which creates a striking contrast with the blue sky. Spend about 45 minutes at the top exploring the blue volcanoes and taking in the breathtaking views.   Follow the trail back to Purmamarca where you will have free time for lunch (not included in the price). Take the opportunity to stroll through the charming narrow streets, admire views of the mountain, and explore the craft market. Next, enjoy a 30-40 minute hike along the stunning Colorados trail which leads into the surrounding desert landscapes between the mountains. Stay overnight in Purmamarca; please note accommodation is not included in the price, however, your guide will be happy to help you find the best option for your stay. DAY 2 Travel across the Humahuca's Gorges - hich was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003 - to get to the town of Iruya, a unique town built in the middle of the mountains. Free time for lunch (not included in the price). Return to Salta or Jujuy, and end of services.

After pickup from the meeting point in Jujuy, take a drive through the picturesque towns of Yala, Volcán, and Tumbaya. On your way, make a stop at the Seven Colors Hill viewpoint and marvel at the wonderful views of the multi-hued mountain illuminated by the sun. Then, arrive in the village of Purmamarca at the base of the Seven Colors Hill where you'll begin your hike. 3. From Jujuy: Day Trip to Quebrada de Humahuaca

Meet your group at the meeting point in Jujuy. From there, take a ride to Purmamarca, a small town at the base of the Seven Colors Hill, a stunning multi-hued mountain. Then, discover Maimará, a small village nestled in the shadow of the Monolith Painter's Palette, a multicolored geological formation made up of stunning red, yellow, orange, and pastel hues. Next, visit Pucará de Tilcara, a fort built in the 12th century by the Omaguaca tribe, who were later conquered by the Incas. Stop in the sleepy town of Uquía, notable for its historic church boasting paintings of gun-toting angels. Make your next stop at the Tropic of Cancer, the most southerly latitude at which the sun can appear directly overhead at noon. Head on to Humahuaca and admire the multicolored Quebrada de Humahuaca mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This mountainous gorge or "quebrada" runs for nearly 100 miles (155 kilometers) along the Grande River and up into Bolivia.

4. From Jujuy: Yala and Termas de Reyes Half-Day Tour

Spend half a day beyond the city of Jujuy to explore the surrounding natural beauty of northwest Argentina. See the lagoons of Yala and experience a mountain forest teeming with wildlife and beautiful foliage. End your tour at the rejuvenating Termas de Reyes to experience the healing properties of thermal waters.  After being picked up in Jujuy, head west up to the town of Yala. The area is famous for lakes located at 2,300 meters above sea level. Visit the lagoons of El Comedero, Desaguadero, and Rodeo with their crystalline waters set among a lush green environment. Crossing the ravine of the Yala River, head up a dirt road to Los Nogales. Upon entering the Potreros de Yala Provincial Park, you will see a mountain forest with its cloud cover. Known as Yungas, this stretch of forest along the eastern slope of the Andes has thick vegetation and flowers, creating an attractive landscape setting. The coexisting fauna include macas, herons, ducks, coots, and a variety of other species. After a small trek in the high-altitude trails, begin to descend toward the Spa Termas de Reyes, where you can enjoy the thermal waters in an open pool and several whirlpools. Relax and find rejuvenation in the mineral waters that can exceed 50 degrees Celsius and offer various health benefits. Afterward, enjoy your return transfer back to Jujuy.
